About
Hi, I'm Antti
I help people build things, usually with AI, usually on the web. The throughline is learning: I like taking a fuzzy idea, figuring out how it really works, and turning it into something real that ships and holds up.
Day to day I'm a PhD researcher at the University of Jyväskylä and Researcher in Residence at Herizon, looking at how AI is reshaping work and learning. It's the same lens I bring to building with it.
I work in the open and learn out loud: the blog here is where I write up what I figure out along the way. If you build things too, especially without the usual background, I help run the Finnish vibe-coding community at vibekoodaus.fi.
What I'm into
Outside the day job, a few things I never stop poking at:
- AI and language models, and which parts are actually useful
- Science, and knowing how things work
- Books, films, games, and tinkering with computers
- Strength training: I train hard and have coached others through it
